    I’ve been reading up on wild edibles lately and nearly every source i’ve reference cautions foragers to cook all types of morels. Uncooked morels contain toxins, and should be cooked (in a well ventilated area, i.e. outdoors) to eliminate these potentially harmful toxins. I’m not an expert, but i will heed that warning. Saying something is edible without including all pertinent information is a dangerous way to share knowledge.
