Raccoon Skull with Some Skin – May 6 2007

I’m given this treat because I’m the camp naturalist, and because it’s was being eaten by one of the camp’s dogs. It’s interesting that the skin is perfectly removed from one side this this raccoon’s skull. Make me slightly curious how this could happen?

It’s all in the decomposition process, in the position the animal was laying in after deceased.

The trapperman guy cited himself as borrowing the pic. He is not one to steal from other people. Read the whole thread next time G Hunter
