Damselflies on Massasauga Trail – June 29, 2006

It’s early morning and this damselfly is positioned with its abdomin strait up in the air. My guess is that it is trying to absorb as much sun as possible to warm itself up for flight.


 This black colored damselfly stays in close proximity to the one above.  I don’t know if they are male and female of the same species?
