Hoverfly getting necter – June 16, 2006_

Along Massasauga trail this hoverfly hangs upsidedown to get necter from the tiny yellow flowers of this plant. I love how this fly's abdomin glows with the sunlight.

That's No Bee

Although these insects look like bees they actually have no stinger and only have one pair of wings(bees and wasps have two pairs of wings).
