Fawn on Turtle Hill – May 25 2006

While hiking on turtle hill a fawn was spotted alone on the forest floor. Can you find the fawn in this photo? It's pretty well camoflaged. 

Smelless Defense

New born fawns have little to no scent which help keep them safe from predators.  Fawns can get in trouble when humans move fawns that they find in the forest thinking that they are lost.
