I look up from my computer and see some breathing brown fur on my window sill. At first I think it’s a mouse. I take it outside and let some kids take a look at it and then it flys away.

Bat on Towel

I believe this is a little brown bat. It is on being moved from the side of the director’s house to a beech tree so that is doesn’t get eaten by a dog.

Return of bats – March 27 2007
It’s my first bat sighting of the season. There are about 10 to 12 bats flying pretty low.
With my bat detector(picture above) I can hear their calls. This is a small portion of what I heard.
