Wild black raspberries are the favorite trail treat of the nature adventure campers. Daylily flower petals come in a close second.

Found these two leafhoppers on a plant on Camp Friedenswald’s Main Trail. They are only about 1/4 of an inch long.

On one of our adventures on lake shavehead this stinkpot(musk) turtle takes a short ride in a canoe.

When the campers return from canoeing this milk snake comes out of the bow.

 One of the nature campers shows me this gall on the leaf of a cottonwood leaf.  Are these Pemphigus aphids?
